At SCCMA, we just don’t train women but also link their skills and experience to potential job opportunities through our connection and partner organizations. We believe effective skills development to reduce women poverty in Ethiopia must result in income opportunity for women and their families through hired or self-employment.
Thanks to our vocational training program, SCCMA has created a job opportunity for over 200 women at various location including our center where trainees manufacture different clothing products and sell them at trade shows. Trained women have also found employment opportunities to earn regular income and volunteers at Sara Center’s kitchen to help cook to their children as and when they can.
